MILFORD – Ethel (Gorneault) Thibeault, 78, passed away Feb. 14, 2007. She was born May 15, 1928, in Daigle, the daughter of Maxime and Mina (Theriault) Gorneault. Ethel worked at local shoe shops and was a volunteer driver for Eastern Transportation and Project Ride for many years. She will be remembered as a generous, loving woman. Ethel was predeceased by her parents; husband, Albert Thibeault; son, Vernon Thibeault; and sisters, Ella Thibeault and Jacqueline Thibeault. She is survived by her daughters, Vina Thibeault and Lisa and her husband, Alan Bates; son, Vernald and his wife, Cheryl Thibeault; grandchildren, Matthew and his girlfriend, Megan, Becky, Susan, Caleb, Caitlin and David; great-grandchildren, Carter, Cody, Samuel and Abigail; sister, Eltine Clay; brother-in-law, Alva Thibeault; daughter-in-law, Sandra Thibeault; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Parish with the Rev. Bill Labbe, celebrant. Interment will be in the spring. Those considering an expression of sympathy may make a donation toward the family’s expenses.
