PORT ORANGE, Fla., and GREENBUSH – Etta Fowler passed away Aug. 8, 2008, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Greenbush. She was born March 18, 1939, the daughter of Levi and Phoebe (Goslin) O’Clair. On July 3, 1982, she married Orman D. Fowler and they spent many wonderful years together. Etta loved gardening and sewing, and she especially enjoyed cooking. She was also a proud member of Milo Pentecostal Church. Etta is survived by her loving husband, Orman; her children, Terry Stanley of Enfield, Larry Kennedy and wife, Julie, of Georgia, Carey Kennedy and wife, Ann, of Greenbush and Garry Kennedy and wife, Lorelei, of Old Town; her stepchildren, Cheryl Fowler of Carmel, David Fowler and wife, Linda, of Glenburn, Timmy Fowler and wife, Debbie, of Bradford and Matthew Fowler and friend, Lorenda Kenny, of Bangor; by her 14 grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gerry Wright of Greenbush; her brother, Bobby O’Clair and wife, Tammy, of Old Town; and her sister, Irene Theis of Old Town. Etta was predeceased by her parents, Levi and Phoebe O’Clair; and her three brothers, Walter, David and Dana O’Clair. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cardville Pentecostal Church, Greenbush.
