HARTLAND and DOVER-FOXCROFT – Etta J. Hyde, 62, died Oct. 10, 2005, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Endicott, N.Y., the daughter of LaForest and Frances (Hyser) Bouton. Etta was a hard worker and a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Etta and her husband moved to Maine in the spring of 2001. She is survived by two sons, Duane (Mari) Hyde of Dover-Foxcroft and Francis (Marie) Hyde of Pittsfield; four daughters, Annette Havens and fiance, Jim Clink and Tracy Hyde, all of Whitney Point, N.Y., Jodene (Brent) Murray of Waterloo, N.Y. and Rosena Wetmore of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother, Tracy Bouton of Sherburne, Vt.; a sister, Sally (John) Schneider of Vestal, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis; sons, Robert and LaForest; brother, Earl Bouton; and a grandson, Benjamin Murray. A committal service will be held in New York. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Newport.
