MATTAWAMKEAG – Eugene N. Perry, 62, passed away Oct. 14, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 29, 1943, in Lincoln, the son of Charles and Helen (Powers) Perry. Eugene loved his family. He liked to work on old cars, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a C-B Radio enthusiast, and his handle was “Dynamite.” He enjoyed listening to old country western music. He is survived by his mother, Helen Merrill of Millinocket; a daughter, Robin and her husband, Keith Stratton Jr., of Woodville; two grandchildren, Chad Stratton and Angela of Newport, and Amanda and Brian Maris of Lincoln; a great-granddaughter, Amber Jean Maris of Lincoln; siblings, Erwin Perry, Vera Randazzo, Emily Crocker, Arnold Perry, Willard Perry, Caroly Ireland and Robert Perry; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jason Johnstone officiating.
