CAMDEN – Fauna Cameron Small, 76, of Camden, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center. Born May 4, 1929, in Brookton, she was the daughter of Donald and Marguerite (Cameron) Craig. She was a graduate of Mattanawcook High School in Lincoln. On Aug. 20, 1969, she married Alton L. Small in Bangor. Mrs. Small was a very devoted mother and grandmother and was very focused on her family. Surviving are her two sons, Robert K. Cameron of Portland; Jonathan D. Small and his wife, Anne of Bangor; one daughter, Dawn M. Small and her fiance, Eric Heal, of Camden; two brothers, Rev. Dana Craig and his wife, Nancy, of Saltsburg, Pa.; Norman Craig and his wife, Levola, of Bangor; and two grandchildren, Katherine Small and Taylor Small both of Bangor and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Small was predeceased by her husband, Alton L. Small who died March 26, 1998. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Laite Funeral Home, 9 Mountain St., Camden. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the John Street United Methodist Church, Camden with the Rev. Linda Campbell Marshall officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Camden. The family suggests memorial donations be made in her memory to Help At Home, care of Kno-Wal-Lin, 169 Pleasant St., Rockland, ME 04841.
