WOODLAND – Faustina Olmstead, 96, died Dec. 14, 2003, at Caribou. She was born in Caribou Jan. 13, 1907, the daughter of Harvey and Delia (Wright) Olmstead. She was a graduate of Caribou High School and attended the Aroostook State Normal School as well as the Maine School of Commerce in Auburn. Faustina was employed by Attorney W.P. Hamilton for several years and then was employed by the Town of Woodland as their bookkeeper for many years, retiring in 1983. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland. She is survived by one brother, Ollis Olmstead of Woodland, several nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial services will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Miss Olmstead may do so through the First Baptist Church of Woodland memorial fund. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
