HOLLIS – Faye A. Millay, 82, of the River Road, died March 19, 2006, at the Barron Center in Portland. She was born April 29, 1923, in Machias, the only daughter of Clarence C. and Agnes (Hoyt) Armstrong. She graduated from Washington Academy and worked at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, N.J. In 1960, she moved to Hollis. She loved animals and birds. She was an avid artist and enjoyed all forms of needlework. Faye was predeceased by her husband, George Millay in 1973. Faye is survived by a son, David Millay and his wife, Elaine, of Arkansas; a brother, James Armstrong and his family of Vermont; a very special companion of 29 years, Arnold Junkins of Hollis; and a dear friend, Patricia Tillson of Buxton.
