LINCOLN, Mass. – Michael Dale McCormick, 58, formerly of Lincoln, Maine, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Mass. He was the husband of 35 years of Colleen M. (Snow) McCormick. Born Nov. 7, 1947, in Bangor, he was the son of Geraldine McCormick of Lincoln, Maine and the late Dale C. McCormick. He attended Lincoln, Maine public schools and was a 1966 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln. He later received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1973. For more than 20 years he worked in marketing and sales in the semi-conductor industry. An avid amateur boat builder, his most recent project was a 15-foot mahogany runabout. Mr. McCormick’s other passions included electric guitars, golfing and sailing. He had resided in Lincoln, Mass. for the past nine years. In addition to his wife, Colleen; and mother, Geraldine; survivors include two daughters, Jennifer M. McCormick of Framingham and Kimberly M. McCormick of Everett; a brother, Webster B. McCormick of Lincoln, Maine; a sister, Jane R. Montgomery of Akron, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Joseph Dee & Son Funeral Home, 27 Bedford St., Concord, Mass. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham St., Worcester, Mass. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln, Mass.
