GREENVILLE – Faye Ruth Dean Gregan, 94, died peacefully April 1, 2004 at her home in Greenville. Faye was born July 22, 1909, in Greenville, the daughter of Delia (Snowdale) and E. Linwood Dean and was the wife of the late Robert “Reddie” Gregan. She was born, raised, and lived in Greenville for 94 years. Faye graduated from Greenville High School in 1927. She was married to Reddie for 62 years. Faye was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Greenville. She was a firm believer that no one can walk through their earthly life successfully without the guidance of her savior Jesus Christ. Faye read her bible daily and believed in the strength and healing power of prayer. Her walk through life was a joyous one, loving and caring for family and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Jimmie Gregan; sisters, Marion Pulverenti, Mildred Roberts, and Delia Heath; brothers, Elwin and Paul Dean. Faye is survived by two daughters, Jean Gregan Wortman and her husband, Llewellyn, of Greenville, Mary Roberts Holmes and her husband, Michael, of Cumberland; one sister, Sarah Fahey of Brunswick; one brother, Arthur Dean of Florida; a sister-in-law, Helen Stodder of Connecticut; two grandsons, Gregan Wortman of Portland, Nils Wortman and wife, Anne, of Dedham; four granddaughters, Lew-Ellyn Hughes and friend, Forrest, of Stratton, Heidi Richards-Gingras and husband, Robert, of Naples, Robin Daily and husband, Michael, of Dixfield, Melanie Breton and husband, Paul, of Greenville; great- grandchildren, Grit, Rain, and Trea Richards, Sidney Wilcox, Kelly, Emily, and Holland Hughes, Hans, Rica, Hannah, Gretel, and Bianca Breton, Shay and Rye Daily, Tristan, Alec, and Cayd Wortman, and Ariel Walking Eagle; great-great-grandson, Aiden McIver; a special niece, Melissa Holmes; other special family members, Bart Hughes, Cheryl, Fred, Amanda, and Jillian Bouley; several nieces and nephews.
