BANGOR – Florence A. Smith, 101, died March 7, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born July 6, 1906, in Bangor, the daughter of Odilon and Agnes (Bushway) Boudreau. Florence attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, John Bapst High School and graduated from Queen’s Hospital School of Nursing, Portland, in 1930. She is survived by one son, Donald A. Smith Jr. of North Carolina; two daughters, Ann Butterfield of Clifton and Elaine Parker of South Portland; one brother, Robert Boudreau of Brewer, grandchildren great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren and several nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald A. Smith; one brother, Albert Boudreau; one sister, Edna Boudreau; a son, Duane Smith; and one grandson, Jeffrey Butterfield. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
