MILBRIDGE – Florence (Beal) Chipman, 85, died April 12, 2006, at an Ellsworth hospital surrounded by her family. She was born May 5, 1920, in Milbridge, the daughter of the late Ernest and Coris Beal. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Milton Chipman; four sisters, Marion Turner, Vergie Rumery, Hilda Parritt, and Eleanor Miller; and one brother, Ernest Beal Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Currier and husband, Jim; a son, Ronald Chipman and wife, Laura; grandsons, Jimmy Currier and wife, Debbie, John Chipman and wife, Rhonda, Darren Chipman and wife, Sasha, and Ralph Pineo and wife, Peggy; a granddaughter, Jan Walford and husband, Joe; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Danny, Monica, Tyler, Josef, and Joshua; a brother, Harvey Beal and wife, Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Florence’s wishes there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Evergreen Cemetery in Milbridge, officiated by Pastor Owen Beal. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Homes, Milbridge.
