WELLINGTON – Florence L. (Hathaway) Emhoff, 75, of Wellington, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at her home. She was born July 13, 1929, in Stafford Springs, Conn., daughter of the late Raymond and Ester (Young) Hathaway. Florence worked for many years in the food and service industry in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Florence was predeceased by her husband, William J. Emhoff, April 28, 2005. Florence is survived by a son and two daughters-in-law, William R. and Doreen R. Emhoff of York Harbor, Diane Violette and husband, Maurice Violette, of Somers, Conn.; three grandchildren, Jessica Levesque, Robert K. Emhoff and Matthew T. Emhoff; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Kaylee Levesque; one sister, Orianna Ladd of Stafford Springs; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Larry and Eleanor Emhoff, James and Nancy Emhoff, Henry and Janice Emhoff; two sisters-in-law, Barbara H. Morin, Maude Emhoff, all of Stafford Springs, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by a son, Robert L. Emhoff; a brother, Raymond Hathaway; sisters, Ina Pragl, Betty Smith, Roberta McGee, and Margaret St. Marie. There will be no calling hours at the request of the family. Burial will be private at the Union Center Cemetery in Union, Conn. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wellington Fire Department, care of Merrill Trafton, Wellington, ME 04942.
