FLORENCE M. BARR MILLINOCKET – Florence Mae Barr, 88, wife of the late Alsid Barr, died at a Lincoln health care facility Monday, Jan. 26, 2004. She was born in Akron, Mich., Dec. 5, 1915, the daughter of Bert and Maud (Snow) Wing. Florence enjoyed crafts, cooking, playing solitaire, and walking. She also loved to work in her yard and going for rides. She also always looked forward to going to the Appalachian Trail Restaurant. She is survived by special friends, John and Rhonda Cote, Darcy Stewart, and Frank Friel, all of Millinocket; several stepchildren. Florence will also be missed by her friends at In Home Health Care. Friends may call at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2004. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
