LINCOLN – Florence Webster, 96, wife of the late Kenneth Webster, died Oct. 26, 2005, at her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1908, the daughter of Raymond R. and Mae (Harriman) Creamer. Florence was educated at Waldoboro schools, Eastern State Normal School and received a B.S. degree from the University of Maine at Orono. She taught school for 27 years, in Springfield, Howland, Lee and Lincoln, retiring in 1974. She was a member of NEA and the MTA. She was a member of the Lincoln Congregational Church and the Pilgrim Daughters. She loved the Red Sox; and enjoyed growing flowers in her flower garden. Her survivors include great-nephew, Kenneth Borneman and his wife, Kathy, of Veazie; their son, Craig of Veazie, and their daughter, Kendra and husband, Matt Nevells and children, Kaden and Makena of Leeds; cousins, Anne Vincent of Massachusetts and Elizabeth Kemp of California; great-niece, Leslie-Ann McCollum of Massachusetts; in-laws, Stanley Webster of Springfield, Shirley Delano and family of Lee, Geraldine McCormick and family of Lincoln, Paul Webster and family of Bangor, Theo Webster of Windham and Mae Thibodeau and family of Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves close friends, Bonnie Bouchard, Barbara Markie, Carlene Gates, Geraldine Lovely, Florence Jordan and Faye McCormick. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell Joiner officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Following the committal service, there will be a gathering at the social room of the Lincoln Congregational Church.
