BAR HARBOR – Frances “Fran” Milne Warren, 87, died April 7, 2008, at Mount Desert Island Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1921, in Sullivan, the daughter of Angus Scott and Doris Mae (Leighton) Milne. She and her husband, Howard, enjoyed snowmobiling and square dancing. Fran was a CB radio operator and she went by the handle “Cat Lady.” She was a member of St. Saviors Episcopal Church and Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita W. Young and husband, Leonard E. Young III, of Bar Harbor; three grandchildren, Leonard E. Young IV, Stephanie Young and Bruce Young; two great-grandchildren, Drew and Caleb Young; one niece, Margaret Spear of Bar Harbor; and a nephew, Leighton Milne of Sullivan. Fran was predeceased by her husband, Howard C. Warren; and a brother, Wayne Milne. Friends are invited to call 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Jordan-Fernald, 48 Eden St., Bar Harbor, where funeral ser-vices will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Spring interment will be at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor.
