MADAWASKA – Frances Morin, 78, passed away Sept. 7, 2004, at Caribou Medical Center. She was born in Madawaska, June 19, 1926, the daughter of Willie and Denise (Guy) Daigle. Frances was a life-long resident of Madawaska and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. She worked for many years as a telephone operator for Fraser Paper. She enjoyed the camp, her flowers, and all of her many special friends. She also treasured her many vacations and trips that she shared with her husband, Roland. She is survived by one son, Joel Morin and his wife, Francine, of Madawaska; one daughter, Elaine Millett of Ashland; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Morin of West Allis, Wis.; one brother, Joffre Daigle and his wife, Gloria, of Madawaska; two sisters, Brigitte Cote of Edmundston, N.B., Canada and Rose Marie Frenette and her husband, Lloyd, of Frescoe, Texas; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Audibert of Hampden; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Roland; one son, Dennis Morin; her step-mother, Melanie Daigle; one sister, Patricia St. Jean; one brother, Joel (Daigle) Audibert; and one son-in-law, Michael Millett. Her family would like to thank the wonderful people who helped to care for Frances and all of those who became her friends while she lived at the Borderview Rehab and Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday and from 10 am until time of services on Saturday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Edgar (Guy) Paradis Cancer Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
