SHERMAN – Frances Qualey, 68, passed away Feb. 13, 2008, in Waterville. She was born Aug. 8, 1939, in Crystal. She was the daughter of Donald and Lillian (Tracy) McNally. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one grand-child, Corey; and several siblings. She is survived by five children, Donald A. Qualey and his wife, Jane, of Abbot, Tam-my Crommett and her husband, Clayton, of China, Maine, Renee Untereiner and her husband, Gary, of Sherman, Ramona Watson and her husband, David, of China, Maine, and Lorna Berube and her husband, Tony, of Winthrop; 11 grandchildren, James, Samantha, Roberta, Matthew, Heather, Jason, Jessica, Joshua, Rebe-cca, Kaleb and Logan; and four great-grandchildren, Sierra, Miranda, Jasmin and Brielle. Above anything, Frances was a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed winter and music, and time spent with her family. She took the time to listen and support her children and gave them enough love and memories to keep her with them always. Her stories and good sense of humor reflected that she was truly a kid at heart. At her request, private calling hours and funeral services will be held at this time. A graveside service will be announced in the spring. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
