PRESQUE ISLE – Frederick N. Wilson, 67, died early Monday morning, Sept. 20, 2004, at his residence. He was born Nov. 5, 1936, at Mapleton, the son of Charles F. and Ella M. (Archer) Wilson. He graduated from Mapleton High School. Fred was a great baseball player, and an avid fan of the Red Sox. He enjoyed many pleasurable hours fishing and hunting with Walter and Real. He retired in 1999 from Columbia Forest Products in Presque Isle. He is survived by his wife, Adena B. (Johnson) Wilson of Presque Isle; two sons and their wives, Todd and Becky Wilson, Brad and Tracy Wilson, all of Vancouver, Wash.; three daughters and their husbands, Andrea Bard-Smith and Stephen Smith of Mapleton, Lori and James O’Clair of Ashland, Alison and Jeffrey Smoldt of Knob Noster, Mo.; three sisters and their husbands, Lois and William Weaver of Mapleton, Marilyn and Dain Kelly of Marseilles, Ill., and Rose Mary Van Nostrand of Mayfield, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren, Hilary, Jesse, Brandon, Meagan, Monica, Melinda, Allan, Timothy, Benjamin, Ethan, Justin, Lindsay, Abigail and Elizabeth. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Mark Hartley officiating. A time of refreshments and fellowship will be immediately following the service at the Wilson’s residence.
