MILBRIDGE and WINTER HARBOR – G. Michael “Bud” Byers, 55, passed away Sept. 20, 2005, at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born May 29, 1950, in Bangor, the son of Ralph E. Byers, Sr. and Nell E. (Merchant) Byers. He is survived by his wife, Madolyn Byers; a son, Chris Byers; a granddaughter, Michaela Byers; his mother, Nell Byers; sister-in-law, Charlotte Reed and friend, Jack Drost; and brother-in-law, Adin Reed and wife, Vincy, and their families; and special friends, Shane Reynolds, Ivan Ray, Aaron Beal, Chris Dorr, Freddie Young, Oscar Young, Dicky and Cheryl Crabtree, and many others. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Byers Sr.; and two brothers, Ralph Byers Jr. and Danny Byers. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Bragdon-Kelley-Camp-bell Funeral Home in Milbridge.
