MAPLETON – Gaylen W. Adams, 55, died May 22, 2004 at his resident. He was born Nov. 7, 1948, in Mapleton, the son of Raleigh and Mildred (Wells) Adams. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Mr. Adams had been employed at McCains for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, four wheeling and anything that took him outdoors. He is survived by a sister, Carolyn Judge and her husband, Donald of Yuba City, Calif.; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be remembered by a special friend, Mike Wood of Presque Isle. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at South Side Cemetery, Mapleton, with the Rev. Kenneth Fox officiating.
