SEDGWICK – Geneva H. Pert, 82, died May 5, 2006, at a Deer Isle healthcare facility. She was born March 4, 1924, in Blue Hill, the daughter of Archie L. and Nellie R. (Gray) Candage. Geneva enjoyed making wreaths, crocheting and doing crafts. Geneva is survived by two sons, Terrance Pert and wife, Gladys, of Sedgwick and Archie Pert, of Bucksport; a daughter, Sandra Eaton of Deer Isle; two sisters, Joyce Tyler and husband, Harry, Geraldine Carter and husband, Linwood, all of Blue Hill; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and by her dog, Smokey, who will miss her. She was predeceased by her sister, Ceila Connors. Friends are invited to call 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, May 9, at Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill. Graveside services will follow 12:30 p.m. at Rural Cemetery, Sedgwick, with the Rev. Allen Myers presiding.
