PRESQUE ISLE – Geneva L. Baldwin, 74, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1932, at Eagle Lake, the daughter of Thomas and Adrianne (Morneault) Labbe. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants including Al’s Diner, Mrs. Olore and the Northeastland Hotel. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Ireland and Ella Stevenson, both of Presque Isle and Barbara McNeal of Washburn; two step-daughters, Diane Piper and Linda Case, both of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Adrienne Kennedy of Easton, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Geneva was predeceased by her husband, James Baldwin of Nashville, Tenn.; her son, Kenneth Roy Stevenson of San Francisco; her two brothers, Fred Labbe of Eagle Lake and Franklin Labbe of Soldier Pond; her sister, Altina Armstrong of Fort Fairfield. Relatives and friends may call 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating.
