EDDINGTON – George D. Faloon Sr., 74, husband of Shirley (Trueworthy) Faloon, went home to be with the Lord, May 20, 2004, at his home. He was born April 30, 1930, in Medway, the son of Raymond E. and Nettie M. (Cram) Faloon. George was an ironworker in the construction business, and also owned and operated his own construction businesses. He was a Christian man and attended the Ellsworth Church of God. He operated the food pantry at the church. In addition to his wife, Shirley of Eddington and his mother, Nettie of East Millinocket, he is survived by a daughter, Darlene Phillips and her husband, Stephen, of Clifton; two sons, Kevin Faloon and his wife, Laurie, of Dover-Foxcroft and George D. Faloon Jr., and his wife, Cheryl, of Ellsworth; eight grandchildren, Nicole Macomber, Tiffany Macomber, Robert Faloon, Michelle Phillips, Renee’ Watters, Kristen Faloon, David Faloon, and Veronica Hills; a brother, Raymond Faloon and his wife, Orissie, of Medway; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Ray. Visitation will be private. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with the Rev. Jason Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a local food pantry of one’s choice.
