HOWLAND – Georgia E. Martin, 65, wife of the late Emery J. “Bee” Martin, died unexpectedly Oct. 6, 2004, at her home. She was born July 22, 1939, in West Enfield, the daughter of George and Eva (Stevens) Lawrence. Georgia was an avid gardener, and enjoyed her retirement kayaking, traveling and reading “You will always be missed and never be forgotten.” She is survived by two sons, Anthony of Howland and Christopher of Passadumkeag; two daughters, Melanie Lavertu and Tami Colbath and her husband, Randy, all of Howland; five sisters, Elizabeth Hoxie and her husband, George, of West Enfield, Gloria Faloon and her husband, Glendon, of Howland, Charyl Gonzalez and her husband, Reggie, of Lewiston, Lois Crawford and her husband, Robin, of Lincoln and Colleen McCormick and her husband, Dalton, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Seth, Bianca, Sarah, Jonathan, Garrett, Kelsy, Nolan, Gavin, Brittany, Brooke, Erynne, Bryce; one great-grandchild, Seth Emery Joseph Martin Colbath Jr.; special friends, Gina, Uda, Carlyn and Inez; her two cats, Max and Zachary; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, “Bee”; she was predeceased by a sister, Betty; and her stepfather, Louis Leveille. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the West Enfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Andre Houle officiating.
