INDIAN TOWNSHIP – Gerald Frank Lank, 24, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006. Gerald was born July 13, 1982, in Calais, son of Gerald J. Stevens and Martha A. (Lank) Foster. He enjoyed four wheeling, fishing and spending time with his fiance and daughter. Gerald was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Pauline Stevens; and his maternal grandparents, Elmer Lank and Phyllis and Frank Saunders. Surviving are his father, Gerald Stevens; his mother, Martha Foster and her husband, Mark; his fiance, Sara Nicholas and their daughter, Sierra Lee Lank, all of Indian Township; two sisters, Kelly Lank and her fiance, Clayton Sockabasin, of Indian Township and Stacey Stevens and her fiance, Pete Blaney, of Lake Placid, N.Y.; three brothers, Lance Sockabasin, Corey Lacoote and Dylan Lacoote, all of Indian Township; his paternal grandfather, George Stevens of Indian Township; maternal great-grandmother, Thelma Lank of Eastport; a nephew, Jacob Sockabasin; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Sylvia Sockabasin, Nancy Polches, Michael Sock-abasin, Little Richard, along with many others. Gerald’s fiance, Sara and his little girl, Sierra Lee, were the two most precious girls in his life, whom he loved with all of his heart. Friends may call 5 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Saturday at his father’s home, 58 Bear Ridge Road, Indian Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne’s Mission, Peter Dana Point with Fr. Frank Morin officiating. Burial will be after at Tribal Cemetery.
