In Loving Memory Of GERALD W. MCBREAIRTY Oct. 15, 1964 – Aug. 4, 2006 Dearest, most handsome, brother, happy birthday today. What joy and happiness you brought to two loving parents 43 years ago. A precious gift to them and to me a blessed sister. You were loved dearly by so many, especially me, but by none more than your mum, just by being you. Easy going and a sense of humor, yes, but loved mostly because of a compassionate heart you owned same as your dad. Why did I not realize you were born at peak, during the most time beautiful time of the year? You would have a funny reply to that. What we learn when a loved one is gone may be that the deepest pain hides on the inside of people and that there are some hurts we do not know how to heal when obstacles are too overwhelming to over come. Oh how I wish it weren’t true, you really being gone. No word describes missing you, nor have I felt like myself since. Your memories no one can take away and I cherish them daily only several times a day. The aroma of cake will fill my home today, as my daughter will know it was made for Uncle Gerry. Your daughters miss and loved you very much. As in the past and forever, I’ll honor and have been proud to call you my brother, looking forward to happy tears.
