CARIBOU – Geraldine R. Goodwin, 88, died March 14, 2007, at her home. She was born July 10, 1918, in Hallowell, the daughter of Perley and Vera (Ferguson) Reed. Geraldine was past matron of OES, Social Order of Bousiant, and Daughters of the Nile. She worked for 24 years at County Federal Credit Union, Caribou, as a teller. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carroll I. Goodwin Jr. of Caribou; one son, Carroll I. Goodwin III and his wife, Pauline, of Alfred; five grandchildren, Khristi, Carroll I. “Dusty” IV and Karla S. Goodwin, Kelly Souliere and Lewis Barrows; six great-grandchildren, Jasmin and Logan Estes, Courtney Koller, Devon and Hali Goodwin, and Connor Souliere; and one cousin, Donald and his wife, Nancy Harrington, of Clinton. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where OES services will be held 7 p.m. by Launar Chapter No. 126. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Caribou, with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Spring Interment will be at South Gardiner Cemetery.
