VAN BUREN and VERNON, Vt. – Geraldine Violette, 78, died Feb. 2, 2007, at a Vernon, Vt., nursing home. She was born March 2, 1928, in Van Buren, the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Ouellette) Corriveau. She is survived by one daugher, Leah Ouellette and her husband, Donald, of Vernon, Vt.; one son, Michael Violette and his wife, Sharon, of Winslow; one brother, Robert Corriveau of North Falmouth, Mass.; three sisters, Muriel Doucette of Van Buren, Claudette Hallisey of Fort Myers, Fla., and Joan Olsen of East Hartford, Conn.; four grandchildren, Jacob and Lauren Violette, Naomi Lagasse and Melissa Ouellette; four great-grandchildren, Samantha and Sarah Lagasse, Logan and Ryan Boyd.
