SINCLAIR – Gerard Bard, 79, died July 12, 2004, surrounded by his family and friends, after a brief illness. He was born July 6, 1925, in Sinclair, the son of Philip Bard and Ozithe Ouellette. He was predeceased by his siblings, Emile, Aime, Joseph, Victor, Anne, Clara and Florence. He was loved and adored not only by his many relatives but by all of those whose lives he touched. His nieces, nephews, his many friends and the neighborhood children and cats…he loved them all. Jerry was a true outdoorsman who had a passion for fishing and hunting whether he was in Sinclair or Bradford camps in Munsungun Lake. At Jerry’s request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sinclair, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. A luncheon will be served after the service.
