UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio Glenice Cobb Nelson, 87, a former resident of Lincoln and Hobe Sound, Fla., died Friday, May 30, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Monroe, daughter of Alvah and Effie (Watson) Cobb. Glenice was a 1938 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy. She loved to garden, travel with her husband in their RV and solve the most difficult New York Times crossword puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, James W. Nelson, March 28, 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey Nelson and Ann C. Hall; grandchildren, Sarah Nelson and Zachary Nelson, all of Upper Arlington, Ohio; sister, Vivian Hilse of South Portland; many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to James and Glenice Nelson Memorial Fund, care of CATCO, 77 South High St., 2nd Floor, Vern Riffe Center, Columbus, OH 43215.
