DEER ISLE – Glenn L. Gross, 63, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at his home in Deer Isle. He was born April 27, 1941, in Castine, the son of Virgil and Lena (Sprague) Gross. Glenn is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marietta (Diplacito) Gross of Deer Isle; three sons, Glenn Gross and his companion, Laurie Martin, of West Newfield, Chris Gross and his wife, Julie, and Donald Gross and his wife, Lisa, all of Brooklin; two daughters, Deanna Oliver and her husband, Tom, of Stonington, and Nancy Austin and her companion, Richard Stacey, of Carmel; a brother, Raymond Gross and his wife, Estelle, of Connecticut; a sister, Althea Barter of Deer Isle; 13 grandchildren, Brett, Christina, Christopher, Dustin, Shaine, Devin, Allison, Nicholas, Evan, Ryan, Matthew, Michael, and Andrew; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2004, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Main Street, Stonington. Private interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Oceanville.
