GREENVILLE – Glenola Harrington, 91, died Jan. 7, 2005, at a Greenville nursing home. She was born June 17, 1913, in Greenville, the daughter of Frederick and Pheobie (Calder) Harrington. Known around town as “Kaiser,” she worked as a telephone operator and for Sanders Store in Greenville for many years. She is survived by two special nephews, Vaughn McNaughton of Greenville and James McNaughton of California; many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Stanley Harrington, Inez McErchern, Bertha MacMullen, Carrie McNaughton, and Ernest Harrington. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Guilford. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Greenville Cemetery.
