BANGOR – Gloria Alberta Faulkenham Ganem, 79, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. Gloria worked in the pathology laboratory at Eastern Maine Medical Center for many years as the executive secretary, under Dr. Wardsworth and Dr. Ira. She retired from Affiliated lab and Dahl-Chase Pathology, as administrative assistant. After she graduated from Bangor High School, she joined the Civil Service secretarial pool at Dow Air Force Base. She was stationed to the Azores, Isle Treserra Air Force Base. She is survived by her daughter, Balinda Ganem; son, Robert Ganem and daughter-in-law, Mary Ganem; two grandsons, David and Robert. A Memorial Service of celebration will be held on her birthday, Oct. 12, 2005, at 6 p.m. at the Universalist Unitarian Church, Park Street, Bangor.
