PORTLAND – Gloria J. Maw entered into the presence of the Lord, Sept. 14, 2007, at Gos- nell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born March 27, 1944, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Donald and Velma (Cyr) Page. Glo loved her family and food was her passion. She was known for finding and gifting unusual kitchen gadgets. She was very generous with her many church and work friends. Glo was a member of the Emmanuel Assembly of God, Portland. Gloria is survived by one son, Linwood and his wife, Debra; two grandsons, Michael and Joseph; two sisters, Mary, Ruth and her husband, Hermel; three brothers, Alan and his wife, Glenda, Kenneth and his wife, Jacqueline, and Gary; five nieces, Tracy, Nicole, Betsy, Cymanthe and Helen; six nephews, Wayne, John, Jerry, Douglas, Kyle and Keith; three great-nieces, Nicole, Willow and Emma Lynn; and six great-nephews, Jeremy, Brandon, Dylan, Zachary, Dawson and Ethan. A special thanks to Judy, her cousin; and Pastor Ken and Beth for their support during this time. The family would also like to thank all the doctors and nursing staff at the Hospice house. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Emmanuel Assembly of God, Portland.
