ENFIELD – Gordon E. Stockley, 85, husband of Evelyn (Round) Stockley, died Oct. 28, 2005, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born April 19, 1920, in Fredericton, N.B., the son of Harry James and Irene Virtue (Tulk) Stockley. Gordon loved animals and he enjoyed gardening. In addition to his wife, Evelyn; he is survived by a son, Clayton; a daughter, Mary; a brother, Donald of Houlton and several much loved cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Leo Catholic Church, Howland, with the Rev. Leroy Landry presiding.
