JACKMAN and NORTH PORT, Fla. – Grace E. Roberts, 91, formally of Jackman, died quietly Feb. 10, 2007, at the home of her oldest son, Walter, where she lived for the past 13 years in North Port, Fla. Grace was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Magaguadavic, New Brunsick, Canada, daughter of Truman L. and Charlotte A. (Sweezy) Jones. Her daughter, Eleanor of Calais; and son, Ronald of Milo, were thankful for being able to be with her prior to her death. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Frank W. Roberts, who passed away May 19, 1986. Grace was blessed with eight grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children, including her namesake, Grace Thompson of Orono. The immediate family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Grace’s nieces, nephews and many friends for their kind words of encouragement, cards and flowers of sympathy and prayers. A committal service celebrating her life is planned later this year in Lincoln, to be conducted by Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
