WHITNEYVILLE – Grace M. (Huntley) White, 93, passed away May 14, 2008, after a brief illness. She was born June 16, 1914, in Whitneyville, the daughter of the late Irving and Eloda (Ramsdell) Huntley. Grace lived all of her life in Whitneyville. She was a lifetime member of Whitneyville Congregational Church. She is survived by her four children, Earl L. White Jr. of Milford, N.H., Judith Ann Woods of North Berwick, Winona Grace Smith and husband, Carl, of Brunswick, and Janice Faye Getchell and husband, Fred, of Whitneyville; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl L. White Sr., in 1971. Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Machias, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. May 17 officiated by Pastor Betty Duzen. Burial will be held after at Village Cemetery, Whitneyville.
