HERMON and LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Grace Marlys Clark, 82, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005. She was born Nov. 18, 1922, in Malden, Mass., and had resided in Las Vegas for 15 years. Marlys served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. She held many nursing positions at EMMC before retiring after 35 years of service. After moving from Hermon she resumed her nursing career as an office nurse in Las Vegas. She is survived by her daughters, Maureen Quick and her husband, Clifton, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Sharon MacLeod of Willowbrook, Ill.; brothers, Ralph Shortt of East Holden, and John Palmer of Carmel; grandsons, Scott MacLeod of Berlin, Germany, and Michael Quick of Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughters, Marney MacLeod of Las Vegas, Nev. and Erin MacLeod of Portland, Ore.; great-grandsons, Cody MacLeod of LasVegas, Nev., Chance Oo of Berlin, Germany and Kohl Quick of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-granddaughter, Sum-mer Lange of Las Vegas, Nev. Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 5, 2005, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Ave. Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
