ELLSWORTH – Gudrun Andersen, 100, loving mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother, passed away Nov. 17, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1906, in Vik, Grimstad, Norway. She was the daughter of the late Ole Martinius and Hanne Marie (Stiansen) Eriksen. Gudrun was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in her home. She enjoyed handwork and the beauty of her embroidery is unsurpassed. Gudurn is survived by daughters, Evelyn A. Vistica of Ellsworth and Grethe A. Richer and husband, Robert A. Richer, of Horseheads, N.Y.; grandsons, David M. Vistica of Falls Church, Va., and Mark E. Richer and wife, Sandra J. Richer, of Beaver Dams, N.Y.; granddaughter, Barbara R. Voigt and husband, Glenn Voigt, of Horseheads, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Hillary M. Strong and Erika R. Strong of Horseheads, N.Y., Ryan E. Richer of Beaver Dams, N.Y., and Sarah B. Vistica of Falls Church, Va.; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Andersen June 25, 1983; granddaughter, Judith V. Miller March 31, 1995; and son-in-law, Robert Vistica Aug. 28, 1985. Funeral service will be private at the convenience of her family.
