CORINNA – H. Gail Sawtelle, 80, died June 24, 2005, at the Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield. She was born March 5, 1925, in Harmony, the daughter of Percy and Molly (Pease) Bickford, and was raised by the Jessie and Minnie Davis family in Corinna. She is survived by a son, Charles and his wife, Filomena Sawtelle, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Jacquelyn Sawtelle of Corinna; two nieces; and two nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie Sawtelle; and a son, William Sawtelle. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2005, at the Corinna Center Cemetery in Corinna.
