SOUTHINGTON, Conn. Harold (Blake) Cochran, 76, of Frost Street, Plantsville Section, Conn., passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Hospital of Central Connecticut, Bradley Campus. He was born Aug. 11, 1930, in Codyville, and was the son of the late Blake Hamilton and Elizabeth Cochran. Harold had served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a true sports fan but also loved to fish and hunt. Harold had been employed by Hamilton Standard, where he retired. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Rose (Sprage) Cochan of Bristol, Conn.; five sons, Randy Cochran and his wife, Noreen, of Prospect, Conn., Norman Cochran of Terryville, Conn., Stephen Cochran of Meriden, Conn., Harold Cochran and David Cochran, both of Plantsville, Conn.; two daughters, Sherry Barnes and her husband, Daniel, of Meriden, Conn., and Karin Valentine of Bristol, Conn., 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lyman Cochran and his wife, Kay, of Maine, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Clyde Cochran. The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Southington, Conn.
