BRISTOL, Conn. – Harold Caron, 65, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Nursing Care Center of Bristol in Connecticut. Harold was born April 17, 1941, in Wallagrass, a son of the late Paul and Yvonne (Morin) Caron. A Bristol, Conn., resident since 1963, he worked for Pratt & Whitney, Southington and Middletown, Conn., for more than 33 years, before retiring in 1999. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol, Conn., where he served as an Eucharistic minister and was a member of the League of Sacred Heart Society. Harold is survived by a two brothers and a sister-in-law, Henry and Beverly Caron of Bristol, Conn., and Paul J. Caron Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvette and Leonard Michaud of Plymouth, Bernadette and Lewellyn Morneault of Fort Kent, and Rita and Bruce Taker of Inverness, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Caron of Bristol, Conn.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Monday, April 2, at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Conn., with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, Bristol, Conn. Entomb-ment, with military honors, will be afterwards at Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol, Conn. Relatives and friends may call 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
