BRADENTON, Fla. – Harold “TBob” Frautten, our beloved brother, died April 4, 2008, of complications from lung failure and pneumonia in Bradenton, Fla. It didn’t take long for God to take Harold from this world into the next one. We held him while he did it. He was born June 30, 1951. Harold leaves behind, until we join him, a brother, Stanley “Sonny” of Waterville; and a sister, Marcia, of Bradenton, Fla. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and cousins from here to Florida. He was predeceased by a sister, Janice; and both parents, Dorothy (Marshall) and Bernard “Chick” Frautten. Harold went to Dexter schools earlier on in his life, but he ended up graduating from Salem schools in Salem, Mass. In the 90s, Harold and I operated TBobs Taxi in the Dexter area. At the time of his death, Harold was sharing a home in Bradenton, Fla., with his sister, Marcia. Harold was an avid bingo fan and for the last several years, had been working for Bingoland, Bradenton, Fla. This is where Harold found his second family. Everyone, from the owners, other workers and all the players, loved Harold. They feel like they have lost a member of their own family. Whether Harold lived in Maine or was just visiting, he loved to play cards with Gus, Vineta, Joyce, Darlene, Jen, Barbie, Auntie, K.J., Annie, Cindy, “Flip”…and the list goes on and on. There was always a lot of laughing and good-natured swearing. Harold had a big heart and lots of people are going to miss him for a long time. I know that I will be one of them. There will be no burial services; my brother wanted to be cremated.
