MADAWASKA – Harold Levesque, 77, died Feb. 10, 2008, at a Mada-waska nursing home. He was born June 1, 1930, in Grand Isle, the son of Joseph and Lizzianne (Dufour) Levesque. Harold was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, a member of Thomas O. Cyr Legion Post No. 147 of Madawaska and 4th degree Knights of Columbus Cou-ncil No. 2638 of Madawaska. He is survived by one son, Daniel Levesque and his wife, Marie, of Frenchville; one daughter, Linda Thibeault and her husband, Danny, of Bristol, Conn.; two brothers, Lucien Levesque and his wife, Pris-cille, of Hartford, Conn., and Roland Levesque of Mada-waska; five sisters, Jeanne Soucy of East Hartford, Conn., Doris Dumond of Grand Isle, Dolores Broadwell and her husband, Bill, of Cape Cod, Mass., Jeannine Lajoie and her husband, Claude, of Florida, and Mildred Raymond and her husband, Reginald, of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Danielle and Brandon Levesque, Todd Thibeault and Kim Levasseur; three great-grand-children, Karissa, Kayla and Katerina Levasseur. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Church, Madawaska. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until the time of services at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
