WEST CHAPMAN – Harold W. Brown, 62, died Dec. 10, 2005, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born March 16, 1943, in Mapleton, the son of Lemuel and Mary (Crawford) Brown. Harold was a member of the West Chapman Advent Christian Church. He served for two years in the U.S. Army and for the past five years had been employed by Burrells in Presque Isle. He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Clayton) Brown of West Chapman; a son and his wife, Steven J. and Terri Brown; and grandchildren, Braydon Avery and Logan James Brown, all of West Chapman; two brothers, Howard Brown and his wife, Myrtle, of Winslow and Richard Brown of Deltona, Fla.; a sister and her husband, Audrey and Alex Christie of Mapleton; nieces and nephews, Tammy Allard, Lora Jacobson, Edward and Laurie Christie and family, Mark and Lynn Christie and Stacey Hamel. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the West Chapman Advent Christian Church with Pastor Nathan Gardiner officiating. A reception at the church will immediately follow the service. Interment will be in the Southside Cemetery in West Chapman.
