NEW YORK and MACHIAS Harriet Amelia (Dowling) Doherty passed away after a long battle with cancer June 21, 2006, in New York. She was the daughter of Henry and Octavia Dowling. A complete obituary will be published in a later edition of the Bangor Daily News.
