SARASOTA, Fla. and BREWER – Harry Lewis Wadsworth, 79, beloved father, grandfather and wonderful friend, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005. He was born May 30, 1926, in Portland, the only son of Harry Lewis Wadsworth Sr. and Dorothy (Madison) Wadsworth. Harry was a World War II Naval Veteran. He worked as a GMAC Senior claims adjuster for 31 years. He was a member of the VFW and the Shrine. Harry was predeceased by both parents and his two sisters, Edith and Arlene. He is survived by his son, William Wadsworth and his wife, Barbara, of Ellsworth; and his daughter, Sharon Wadsworth and her husband, George Crabtree of Naples, Fla.; and his only grandchild, Sara Wadsworth Crabtree, of Naples, Fla. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Sarasota Lakes RV Park Community Center, 1674 University Parkway, Sarasota, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Salvation Army, 1701 South Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, FL 34239.
