BANGOR – Harvey A. Stormann, 67, died Jan. 15, 2005, after a long illness at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 5, 1937, in Stillwater, the son of Clyde D. and Dorothy (Hutchinson) Stormann. Harvey served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for 10 years. He worked as a truck driver for Northeastern Log Homes retiring in 1994. Harvey enjoyed snowmobile and ATV recreation and hunting. He was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather, and will be dearly missed. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara (Cox) Stormann; four children, Cheryl Nash, of Columbia, Md., Debra Graves, of Powell, Tenn., Harvey Stormann Jr. of Ellsworth, Karen Stormann, of Bangor; an adopted grandson, Timothy Stormann; two sisters, Alfreda Savoy of Bradley, Helen Oliver of Milford; a brother, Clyde Stormann of Carmel; grandchildren, Meredith, Nicole, Christopher, Jay, Stephanie, Kristine, Heather, Mike, Danielle, Aimee`, Meagen, and Shawn; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Charles. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 517 Hammond St., Bangor, with the Rev. Charles Hurst, Chaplin for the Marine Corps League of the Greater Bangor Area Detachment No. 1151, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Harvey’s memory may be made to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 517 Hammond St., Bangor, ME 04401, or to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, P.O.
