HUDSON and GLENBURN – Hazel Mea (Dorr) Moon, 73, wife of the late Malcolm R. Moon Sr., died peacefully Dec. 3, 2004, at her home in Hudson surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 2, 1931, in Cherryfield, the daughter of Seward and Vera L. (Farnsworth) Dorr. Hazel resided with her husband in Glenburn for 14 years before moving to Hudson where she resided with her daughter for the past eight years. She is survived by a son, Emery I. Strout and his wife, Barbara Strout, Malcolm R. Moon Jr. and his wife, Sandra, all of Glenburn; a foster son, Roscoe C. and his wife, Hazel Hart of Bangor; daughters, Ida L. Revilla and her husband, Mike of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Hazel L. Pinkham and Glenn Curtis Sr. of Hudson; 14 grandchildren, including a very special granddaughter, Amanda Curtis; seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Annie Shaw of Hartford, Conn. She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Malcolm R. Moon Sr.; and a brother, Eddie Dorr. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of the Hermon Baptist Church officiating. Visiting hours will be held from 12 noon Monday until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery, Glenburn. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made care of Hazel L.
