PROSPECT – Helen F. (Johnson) Crosby, 86, died March 22, 2004, at a Brewer nursing facility. She was born March 3, 1918, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Frederick and Charlotte (Balgal) Johnson. Helen is survived by two daughters, Linda Ross and husband, Mike, of Seaford, N.Y., and Polly Finkbeiner of Prospect; three grandchildren, Kristen Finkbeiner of Pasadena, Calif., Jennifer Pierre-Louis and husband, Philip, of Coram, N.Y., James Ross and wife, Karla, of Charleston, S.C.; two great-grandsons, James and Ryan Ross of Charleston, S.C. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William E. Crosby, in June 1991. Private graveside services will be held in the spring. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Prospect.
